The IMA Charlotte Chapter has just wrapped up a successful year. We continue to grow the membership, add new CMAs and CSCAs, and offer events that provide real value to our members. In early May, your Board met to plan for FY2019. We will be increasing the number of events we have each year to at least one event every month. We will continue to host our very successful Student Night in October, our annual full day CPE Event (need that Ethics course?) in December, and our year-end Commemoration Dinner in May. Our September gathering is focused on an orientation for members and non-members on the value of the IMA to business in Charlotte and the resources that we provide to all business people in the Charlotte area.
We will increase our efforts to build a community of business people in Charlotte by having more networking events around the greater metro area. A number of our events will be round tables where we will engage with our members on topics of concern and relevance to business people in their day-to-day goal of increase value to their operations.
We will not be taking the summer off. We will have an event every month this summer. Our first event of the year will be a networking event at The Broken Spoke in Charlotte on June 19, 2018. Whether you are a member of the IMA or simply a businessperson looking to build your network and meet interesting folks, join us as we kick off the new year.
